Events we are hoping to have this school year are:

August- 26th Open house, teacher meet and greet

September- Fall Fest/ Fun Run
October- Trunk or Treat/ Haunted Gym, safety night, wreath fundraiser begins
November- Pep Rally Assembly, hand out wreaths before thanksgiving break
December- Teacher week before break, Winter theme family breakfast, characters, student work on display
January- Author Night? (Marty Kelly? Grant to fund?)
February- 6th grade hosted spaghetti dinner, carnations for purchase?
March- penny war- st. pat theme
April- planning month, movie night?
May- TAW, end of year event
June- Graduation

Circus Smirkus

Rob Crites a professional entertainer, circus performer and instructor. His performances include stilt-dancing in Paul McCartney's European tour, with Jennifer Lopez on the American Music awards, and juggling on stilts in Aerosmith's "Jaded" music video. Movie performances include "Beauty and the Beast: 30th anniversary", "OZ: The Great and Powerful", and "Water for Elephants". TV performances include Dancing with the Stars, GLEE, Celebrity Circus and General Hospital. In addition to performing, Rob Co-coordinated Cirque du Soleil's "Cirque du Monde" program in Los Angeles for 12 years teaching social circus to at-risk youth. Rob also taught at Cirque School LA and several other circus schools. After moving to Vermont, he has been a Teaching Artist-in-Residence for Circus Smirkus for the last two years.

Valentines Day

Members of the Newport City Wolf PACC, INC. assembled Valentines for the students consisting of a lollipop and a small card.

Penny War

Trunk Or Treat

Children from our community dressed up and gathered goodies from several decorated "trunks" from volunteers around our community.

Spirit Week

Newport City Wolf PACC, INC. Set up a balloon arch in the lobby for staff to assemble their spirit week participants in front of as a photo booth. The Wolf PACC also organized the daily themes for spirit. One of the themes was Tacky Tuesday where participants donned ugly sweaters. Principal, Mr. Larsen donned an ugly sweater designed by Mrs. Punchard's kindergarten class.

Care Bags

Newport City Wolf PACC, INC. volunteers collected donations from around our community to assemble care packages for students to take home over holiday break.

STEM Night

Newport City Wolf PACC, INC. developed a sign up for volunteers to make donations of snack food items for the STEM night event planned by members of the Newport City Elementary School staff.
